Navy quarterback Blake Horvath showed nerves of steel in one of the most exciting finishes of the season. With the game on the line against Temple, Horvath broke loose for a 51-yard touchdown run on 4th down, then connected with Alex Tecza for the game-winning two-point conversion — sealing a 32–31 comeback victory.
Horvath finished with 155 rushing yards, two touchdowns on the ground, and another through the air, powering Navy’s offense and earning national recognition as the Cheez-It Player of the Week. It also marked his second straight AAC Offensive Player of the Week honor.
