I am going to make this article as short as possible because if you scroll down you will see a multitude of Articles describing all the fabulous awards this outstanding college QB, BLAKE HORVATH, has won. I don’t believe there is another QB in the history of NAVY FOOTBALL that has won more awards than Blake Horvath. The only one that comes to mind, and I have been around this game for over 50 years, is Roger Staubach. So, if I just listed them, we would run out of paper to print. Therefore, I will just tell you Blake Horvath threw for over 1000 yardsboth his Junior and Senior years,ran for 1000 yards both of his last 2 years , was MVP of his team both years, Offensives player of the year in his conference for 2 years, was MVP of every Bowl Game in which he played and the MaxwellTrophy winner for the best QB in the Nation. and was nominated for the Heisman and finished in the top Ten in the voting for the best College Football player in the Nation. Honestly, I am just getting started, so please scroll down and look at all the games Blake won, awards he won, and accolades he so greatly deserved and we are just talking about his football at the United States Naval Academy. A man of impeccable character, a fabulous student, and a friend to all. He will be flying jet helicopters and whatever else he wants to do for the defense ofour Great Nation. I could not be prouder of anyone I have ever coached, and that list is pretty long and filled with some awesome young men. My last suggestion for BLAKE HORVATH, ” JUST GET READY TO BE THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.” For those of you reading this remember it was COACH SINK who said that first.
