A familiar pair of guys led Navy to their fourth straight victory and seventh straight in a row. Our man Blake Horvath and his Fullback buddy Tecza did most of the damage this week against the Rice Owls, winning 21 to 13, with Rice scoring 2 late TDS in the fourth quarter.
The Midshipmen had a real stand out on defense as well, with Marc AnthonyParker’s 13 solo tackles, which helped hold the Rice Owls to a total of 238 yards of offense for the game.
Blake Horvath ran for 110 yards and 2 TDS, and Tecza added another 104 yards, then Blake went 8 of 13 for 172 yards and an INT passing. A good afternoon, and welcome to an improved Air Force team that comes to town next week.
