J P Hoak and friends, All the Way from New York

My very promising young Sophomore QB, J P Hoak  from Cazenovia HS in Syracuse, NY made the trip Friday for an all-day session Saturday with Coach Sink and brought 2 of his best receivers with him.    The sessions were like their 2 a days, as we worked for 5 hours, with only a short break for lunch.

As soon as J P did his complete warm up, he was off and running, throwing the ball well for being off as long as he was do to Covid19.  He is one of my QBS that does his home work and therefore he is still gaining even though he has not been able to be here on a regular basis.  He is 6’1†and 185 lbs. and has exceptional speed for a QB, so we are looking forward to his development, as we believe that he has great potential as a College QB.

This is the first time WRS AJ Rothfeld and Andrew Kent have been to a Sink session so, it took both of them a little time to find the groove.

A J, who is 6’3†and has a big stride is a very promising Tight End, with a few pounds added to his already large frame.  Andrew, in the last session particularly started to relax a bit and show us some real deal speed and with his 6’1†190 LBS. frame can be a tough night for any good defensive back.  If both of these guys are able to make the trip, at least once or twice a month then they certainly can be prospects for the D1 division of college football.

J P will have 2 fine targets and we are looking for big things from Cazenovia HS in the next 2 years if these guys stay together.  We are anxious to see what happens to J P as he is a very intelligent QBwith, what I call the ‘IT’ factor, which is that little extra attitude that it takes to be a real winner.  All in all even though it was a grueling session for all 3 kids, there was NO quit in any of them, so we are proud to call them

Sink Kids.  They will be back in a couple of weeks so we will keep you up to date on this 3 some.
