Holtzclaw Leads Team Effort into Playoffs

Judah Holtzclaw QB 2021 from Westerville Central with a team riddled with injuries, lead his team to a huge victory over The Olentangy Braves 41 to 7 last night.  This gives the Warhawks a spot in the state playoffs and they will face Olentangy Liberty next Friday night at Liberty.  The win was truly a team effort from several of their big time players.   Myles Williamson had a 50 yard run for a TD, then Judah threw 2 TDS (watch a clip from one below) to one of his favorite receivers Luke Swaney,  both in the right end zone and one a beautifully placed fade right over the back pylon as we practice it, for 22 yards and the other an 8 yard rocket.

Ricky Hyatt DB (already committed to Kentucky), had a tremendous 70 yard run of a picked pass taking the ball all the way to the 3 yard line where Michael Ross an outstanding young sophomore running back took it in for a TD.   Ricky had his one offense play in the game end in a 50 yard TD as well.   Much of the second half was played with a running clock as the Warhawks took a 34 to 0 lead right after the start of the 3rd Quarter, and the final score was 41 to 7 at the end.

Judah Holtzclaw ended the game with 8 for 12 in the passing game with 2 TDS and  104 yards added to total of over 1900 yards and a QB rating of 104, leading the State of Ohio in D1 football.  Missing  was Zeke Healy  the outstanding 2021 LB  who was only able to play the first quarter, but will be ready for the rematch against Liberty on Friday.   Coach Morrison should be very proud of the way this team gutted it out after a large bump in the road the last 3 weeks and the fact that there is a brand new season starting now!!

Judah has had an outstanding Junior year, and I am very proud of what he has done with adversity off and on all year.  He is a true 3 Star on his way to the top.     Coach Sink:   video Link:  Judah to Luke for TD
