Johnny makes Bath take a Bath—56 to 8

The Wildcats from Bath HS were more like Kittens on Friday as Johnny Caprella and the Shawnee Indians took it to them with a severe thrashing 56 to 8. Johnny had another record night with 5 TDs, 2 throwing the ball and 3 Rushing, as he threw for 333 yards with a 61 % completion average and had 7 carries for 101 yards running the ball.   With a 28 to 0 first quarter score and a 42 to 8 half time score the game was well in the hands of the Indians very early so the first team played very little in the second half.

We must mention 4 of Johnny’s outstanding WR core as Javion Daniels had 6 receptions for 146 yards and 1 TD and is a talented all around football player. Christian Ford his 4.3 speedster had 2 receptions for 77 yards and a whopping 38.5 yards per catch and Peyton Wilson and 2 receptions for 89 yards and 1 TD.  Young Matt Sargent had a reception for 21 yards and looks like he will be a future star as well at the WR position.

Johnny Caprella has put together a remarkable first year of playing High School football and he will be on the campaign trail this summer visiting major

camps and showing what he can do against the best QBs in the Nation.  My bet is he will be standing tall.   Way to Go Johnny Caprella and let’s get one more victory Friday to cap off a tremendous turn around season in Shawnee Football.
