Josh Stewart makes verbal Commit !

Josh Stewart my outstanding Senior QB at Hilliard Bradley HS, Hilliard Ohio committed yesterday over the phone with his new head coach Del Smith, to attend West Virginia Wesleyan University in Buckhannon, West Virginia and as most of you know who have been there, it is ALMOST HEAVEN.  Josh will be playing in the highly competitive Mountain East conference which has produced NFL Players and he is excited about playing for the new OC, J C McDonald, who has compiled quite a  record in his young coaching career. The Bobcats were 5 and 5 last year but with the addition of Josh Stewart behind center and a good recruiting class believe they can be at the top of the conference and maybe even compete for a National Title soon.

It is not often that a D2 level school gets to bring in a QB of Josh’s abilities but as we all know, it is all about the opportunity to be on the field early and often so you can prove your what a winner you are that counts. (examples: Joe Flacco, Arron Rogers, Jimmy Garapalo, Tony Romo, Carson Wince  and many more) All came from less than D1 SBS schools, but have been huge successes at the next level.  It would not surprise me if Josh was not  one more example of this kind of QB.  Josh Stewart is 6’2†210 lbs and lead the state of Ohio in Completion average for QBs throwing 100 or more passes this year with  69.5% , ended up the leading all time passer for his HS and a record of 11 and 1 and losing only to the eventual State Champs, in the playoffs, Pickerington Central.   What a great addition to the Bobcats offense he will be and we are looking forward to great success for Josh this coming season.   Not bad for a guy that had to play at three different High Schools  in 3 years, as Josh will get his entire education paid for by playing football.   I am Proud of My Man Josh Stewart.
