Jared Drake to Nevada with Griffin Dahn

Sometimes the neatest things happen when you just keep working and NEVER GIVE UP!  Jared Drake, my 2013 Ohio Offensive Player of the year, just got back from Reno, Nevada where Coach Jay Norvell (pictured above with Jared) of the Nevada Wolfpack just offered Jared a full ride to play his 2 more years of eligibility .  Jared, who was a first team All-State QB for Westerville Central is going to play with another of Coach Sink’s stars, Griffin Dahn 6’6†240 lbs. who is the rising star QB for Nevada and will be a Sophomore next year underCoach Norvell.  Jared will be playing linebacker (at least to start) and is transferring from Ohio State where he has been at a multitude of positions including running back this year.

It will not surprise any of us if he is in the backfield with Griffin before the year is out as Jared is one of the greatest athletes and all around football players I have ever coached.   Coach Norvell is building a real network of awesome football players including the great state of Ohio , rich in its abundance of guys who are game changing players when they get to college. Watch out for Nevada, as Griffin Dahn to Jared Drake on a wheel route might just be multi TDS this fall.

For sure this program is on the Rise with the addition of Jared Drake, along with their awesome QB Griffin Dahn and a possibility of even a couple of more from the Buckeye State.   Stay tuned as it will be no surprise if both of these guys are playing in the league soon.
