Stewart and Bradley 6-0, #1 in Region

Josh Stewart Senior Star QB for the Bradley Jaguars of Hilliard Bradley HS in Central Ohio is riding high for he is the number 1 rated QB in Central Ohio and on the number 1 rated Football team in the Region.   Josh sure didn’t slow down Friday night as he put up 213 yards of passing on 9 completions out of 11 attempts for a 81% completion average, and added 50 yards rushing.  Three of those 9 passes hit pay dirt for TDs and 4 of those receptions were to Daevon Anderson his outstanding WR who turned those into 73 yards and 1 of those TDs.   Grant Buehl, one of his 2 RBs put up 50 yards on 14 carries and 2 more TDs, and basically all of this was in one half of the football game as the Jaguars lead at half 35-0.  Mike Laparo, Bradley’sHead Coach wisely decided to put the super stars on the bench for the second half and let the young guys get some experience and finish off the victory 42 to 7 over Dublin Scioto.    That brings Hilliard Bradley to 6 and 0 for the year and the # 7 ranking in the State of Ohio in the largest D1 Division.

Stewart’s numbers for the year are pretty awesome too, as he now has accumulated 1331 yards passing with 92 completions for 145 attempts for a 63.4 % completion average for the first 6 games.  Josh and I were talking at his work out last night and he is pleased, but far from satisfied, as his goal is to finish the year in the 70% range for completions and of course keep the W’s coming week by week.    Hard Working, you bet, as all the great ones are, and Josh Stewart and I stood talking at 7:40 pm last night and the practice field was dark, and only the light’s from the soccer field next to us illuminated our closing of our session.   He was on fire last night and loves to work.   Need I say more?   Thanks Big Man for being such a great student of the game.  Also, thanks to Coach Mike Laparo for his support, for he loves for his boys to get better…..too.
