Josh Stewart Bombs Findlay 55 to 20

Josh Stewart, 6’2†210 lbs Senior QB made his debut Friday with a BIG splash. First, it is not like me to concentrate on the negative but sometimes the story is worth the mentioning.  InJosh’s case it is!   Winners get the jitters, particularly when you have to transfer into a new school district as a Senior and play for a new program under new coaches, to you.  So, Joshopened up the game with 3 interceptions and then said, OK that’s enough of that !!! He got down to business as usual in his world of excellent QB play, going 14 of 20 for 198 yards passing and put it in the end zone 3 times throwing the ball.   2 of those TD passes  went to his very talented WR Kory Taylor who already has multi D1 offers.   On top of those numbers Joshalso rushed for 102 yards and 1 rushing TD and 5  important receptions were made by his first team All-State WR Daevon Anderson.

RB Grant Buhl, a very talented athlete I might add, rolled up some serious yardage racking up 139 yards and two TDs.  Grant has also spent multi workouts with Coach Sink (as have  all of the guys in this article) just sharpening his skills as a receiver and working on his cutting ability as a RB as well.   Jack Richards added another 83 yards and 2 short scores, to help Coach Loparo and his talented Jaguars rack up 503 yards of offense.

When you put up 503 yards you usually win and WIN they did, 55 to 20 over Findlay up in Ohio’s rich farm land in the Northwest side of the state.

Josh Stewart is a rising star at the QB position and sure looks like a BIG Time College QB.   Just a start to this Senior year that could be a record breaker for Josh, and maybe for theHilliard Bradley Jaguars who had a fabulous year last year, winning the OCC and making the playoffs under the direction of another Coach Sink QB, Will Phillis who is now at Kent State.  Will was Ohio Offensive Player of the Year last year, and one the most decorated QB’s in Ohio history of that position.

Josh Stewart, congrats for a great opener, now let’s finish what you started, as I know you will.  Can’t wait to see how the season goes for this very good young Coach and his Star QB Josh Stewart, and the rest of the Panthers.
