Joe Burrow Cincinnati Bengals
According to the official stats of the NFL here are the first three Quarterbacks currently listed for Most Valuable Player for the 2024 season. JOE BURROW, LAMAR JACKSON, and JOSH ALLEN are the three in the running. Not that there is a stat for this, but if you put overcoming adversity in the mix, it isn’t close. Joey B went 4 wins and 8 losses in the first twelve games of the season, losing 7 of the 8 by a total average loss of 4.14 points per game and all 7 by 7 points or less.
Sitting at 4 and 8 only Joe could put the entire Bengal team on his back with help from his awesome buddy, Ja’Marr Chase, who had a league leading record 1708 yds, and 17 TDS catching those Burrow passes. Joe finished the regular season one game from making the play offs (a Chiefs loss to Denver) by winning the last 5 games in a row during which he lead the league in Quarterback efficiency. His totals are amazing: He passed for 4918 yards and 43 TDS leading the NFL in both categories, while completing a third in the league 7.5 yards per attempt. If that’s not enough he also finished 2nd overall with a QB rating of an awesome 108.5. Not that he is proud of this stat, but it makes these more amazing and that is he was tied for second for the most sacks with 48, some of which should have been major penalties that were missed. Curt Warner is a pretty good judge, as am I, and he says Joe Burrow should be the MVP. I don’t know about you, but our team in this camp has JOE BURROW MVP for 2025 by a good margin.
Great job JOE, you are the man. Coach Sink
