Holtzclaw and Smith Team Up at Blue Grey Classic Combine

Interesting how new friendships are established when football players compete.  This was certainly true again Sunday at the Blue Grey classic Combine held in Nelsonville, Ohio.   This combine, unlike many others, has definite winners, as they are the ones chosen from all players there to compete in the actual Blue Grey Classic Football game played in January of 2021.  These games will be played in Atlanta, Ga. at the Mercedes Dome and in Dallas, Texas at the AT&T stadium.

Pictured above WR Anthony Smith from West Virginia and QB Judah Holtzclaw from Westerville, Ohio with Coach Sink in the middle, but trust me it was the only time Sink  was between these two guys all day.  Judah found Anthony early during routes on air and by the time the one on ones started Anthony kept trying to time it just right so he was the receiver up every time Judah was throwing.  That was “all she wroteâ€.  The rest of the day nothing came between them other than a rocket ball that Judah was throwing and Anthony was catching.  Anthony and his Dad searched for Judah right after the combine and said “These guys need their picture together†so I arranged it .   Instant friendship is what happens when the best WR and the best QB on the field respect each other’s talents.   Both will be playing together in the Blue Grey Classic Game and I for one can’t wait to watch it.   Congratulations to both guys with Big futures in Football.
