Carlisle lead NC to Another Big Victory

A group of football players standing on top of a field.

Matt Carlisle 6’3†195 lbs. Senior QB at Newark Catholic HS Newark, Ohio put his team on his back one more time again this season and delivered the Big victory over Heath HS (record now 7 and 2) Heath, Ohio 41 to 16 and assures the Green Wave a good spot in the playoffs.  Carlisle has been the offense in most games this season and once again he went 8-14 passing for 185 yards and 2 TDS.  He also rushed for 87 yards on 6 carries and 2 more TDS, which brought Coach Aiello’s Newark Catholic team to a 6 and 3 record and one of those losses found the injured Matt Carlisle on the side lines.

Matt has now rolled up 1256 yards passing on a team that throws the ball a minimum times per game with 15 TDS through the air.  Carlisle added 530 yards and 7 TDS running the ball so far this year.  Matt Carlisle has a pristine delivery and throws rocket balls with the depth and strength any D1 Quarterback would like to have in the State.   I believe Matt is about to be discovered as he moves through the playoffs by some college coach that wants a real winner of a QB and young man.   One of the most dedicated and hard working QBS I have had and will prove it if given the opportunity at the next level.  I am very proud of this awesome young man as a person and Quarterback, He is a winner.

My congratulations to Matt Carlisle and his Green Wave football team at Newark C
