Matt Carlisle getting ready for a Great Senior Year

I am very proud of my Senior QB at Newark catholic HS in Newark, Ohio for he is the perfect ad campaign for my statement,

Adversity Breeds Greatnessâ€.   After starting out his Junior year with big expectations, he was hit by a shoulder injury in the middle of the season and missed the last 5 games and all of the recruiting months following that. Steady he has been !!  Daily working hard and rehabbing the shoulder after an operation, meant not being able to throw for 6 months.  This, however, did not keep the determined Carlisle from never giving up on his goals for football.

Finally the month of March allowed him to start back the throwing sessions with Coach sink and he was off and running.  What a quick bounce back it has been for him because of his commitment.   He is shown here at Akron Football camp and has also attended  Ball State camp.   He is now getting rave reviews from coaches throughout the Midwest and we are looking for Matt Carlisle to rewrite the record books at Newark Catholic Green Wave.   He has all the tools including a 6’4†190 lbs frame and delivers a rocket ball with accuracy and a deep ball of at least 60 yards so Coach Crossh is new Offensive Co-Ordinator will have all the air power he needs to win a lot of games this fall.   Matt Carlisle, Coach Sink is very proud of what you have been able to do and  expects that great Senior year.
