JFK Keeps winning under Christian Marantis

John F Kennedy HS from Warren Ohio and Coach Jeff Bayuk keep right on winning in the State playoffs.   Under the direction on the field is my Junior QB Christian Marantis who threw a key TD again in the outstanding come back Saturday at Canton Central Catholic Field.   Playing Mapleton in the semi-finals JFK was down 21 to 7 at the half and had just failed to complete a TD pass from Christian to his favorite receiver Hollobaugh.   The second half started out just right for JFK when the opening squib kick-off ended up hitting one of the Mapleton players helmets and was recovered by the Eagles.

Christian then connected again with Hollobaugh for a 8 yard TD and it turned the tide.   Even though that made the score Mapleton 21 JFK 14 the momentum had swung and the rest as we say, was history.  JFK ended up putting up 42 and Mapleton could only come up with 34.   Another victory for the great coach Jeff Bayuk and his JFK Eagles.   It is on to Saturday for a re-match from last year’s playoff game against Cuyahoga Heights for the finals in region 25.   Way to go again Christian Marantis and Coach Jeff Bayuk and the Warren Ohio based John F Kennedy Eagles.
