Gregory finishes season with 5 TDs and 378 yards

Mount Vernon Senior QB Jaxon Gregory lit up West Holmes Friday for his final game as a Yellow Jacket.  Jaxon threw for an amazing 378 yards and 5 TDs passing on 27 of 47 attempts for 57% and then gained 23 more yards on the ground.  His buddy Logan Tate caught 3 of those TDs and put up 263 yards of receiving with TD catches of 93, 47, and 43 yards on a total of 8 receptions.  He then led all rushers with 63 yards on 12 carries.  Kaden Daniels another outgoing senior caught one more of those TD passes Jaxon threw on a 10 yard scamper in the second quarter.

I am so proud of Jaxon who ended the season with over 2000 yards of passing and 22 TDs and has several spots to choose from to play in College next fall.

Jaxon has become a great team leader this year and has also put up big numbers in the class room.  He is an amazing example of what a young man can do when he applies himself.  I for one hope he plays fairly close to central Ohio so I can continue to work him year round instead of just in the summer time when he comes home.

Jaxon Gregory, it has been worth it (even those strenuous 1 1/2  and 2 hours sessions even in the dark) and what a young man it has made him.   So proud of you Jaxon Gregory, my man.
