I had a fun time last night going to Cincinnati with my good buddy and former Ohio HS Offensive Player of the year from Westerville Central HS, Jared Drake.
Jared is now a member of the Ohio State Buckeyes and  he wanted to go with me and see his former coach who is now the head coach at UC, Luke Fickell.
Ashton Gilkey WR and Bryson Gilmore DB both of Westerville Central HS Westerville Ohio had awesome nights respectfully at their positions and Ashton,  who made several acrobatic catches and  was able to hook up with Isaiah Healy his outstanding QB from Central for 3 or 4 TDs during one on ones.  It was interesting to watch what was happening to Isaiah during the one on ones as many wide receivers were lining up to have him throw to them for their next route.  The old adage is a Great QB makes his receivers better and  great Receivers make their QB’s LOOK VERY GOOD.  Well, it was working. I do not know how many TDs Isaiah threw but it was plenty.
If his performance wasn’t enough throwing the ball, he lit up the 40 yard dash with a 4.5 and wow,  were the coaches impressed with that.  In the picture L to R, is Bryson Gilmore DB, Isaiah Healy QB, Ashton Gilkey WR all from Westerville Central, then Mike Hartline former QB for the U of Kentucky, Sink, and Jared Drake Ohio State.
Excellent Camp and very well organized and we are looking forward to having some guys play for the Bearcats.
