Ohio’s #1 Sophomore Quarterback: Mark Waid

My sensational young 6’3†200  lb. Girard HS Sophomore from Girard, Ohio has put up numbers that any Senior in the State would be happy with.  Mark passed for 2624 yards and threw 22 TDs, then rushed for 735 yards and 16TDs, and if that isn’t enough he also caught one more TD.  That makes his total offense of 3359 yards and 39 TDs.  Incredible performance and the good thing was his team kept getting better every week and knocked off some potential playoff teams in the last weeks of the season.  This earned him the

ALL DISTRICT QB and  DISTRICT PLAYER OF THE YEAR, and a spot on the prestigious SUPER 22 PLAYERS in NE Ohio area, which he was just chosen last night..   Mark also was Honorable Mention for State of Ohio honors, another tough spot to achieve as a Sophomore.

Mark is humble but confident and has an awesome carreer ahead of him and is receiveing letters from major D1 programs all around the country almost daily.  I for one cannot wait to see the success that lies before him in the next 2 years, if he continues the work ethic that is now the MARK WAID I know. Do not miss watching his Sophomore highlight video.
