Battlefield HS QB Graham Walker visits Coach Sink

Three men standing on a field with an orange football.

Graham Walker and his Dad Sam made the 6 ½ hour trip from Haymarket Virginia to Columbus Ohio so that Graham could spend two days of rigorous training with Coach Sink.

They arrived just in time to start a dual session with our outstanding senior QB from Hilliard Bradley HS in Hilliard Ohio, Josh Stewart.  They matched throws most of the day with 6 outstanding receivers including (multi D1 offered) Senior, Kory Taylor from Hilliard Bradley, rising star coming Junior Lucas Pierce from Newark Catholic, and Kent State bound (to play with Will Phillis, last years Ohio Offensive player of the year QB from Hilliard Bradley) Andrew Crane.  An awesome session it was with both QBs playing on top of their games.

Then it was back to Coaches office for some film study with Graham and then back on the field at Westerville Central that evening at 6 pm where the best Athletic Director in the state, Andy Ey, let the group use Centrals fine field to work.   Jared Drake of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Akron Transfer Martee Morse who tried to break his own record of 510 counts for the fingertip pushups, but still went over 400, were the distinguished receivers for the evening.

Graham stood up tall and delivered a much improved performance from when Coach Sink was at Haymarket to work him with his receivers.   The young Walker agreed how much fun it was to throw to talent like those two guys.

It was up at 6, breakfast at 7 by Bonnie Roesink or Mrs Sink as she is known to all the Coach Sink athlete’s, and then off to Lima, Ohio for a 10am session with our very talented knew 2019 QB Johnny Caprella at Shawnee HS.   We were greeted with 12 WRs so Graham and Johnny got busy and both guys did a fabulous job of throwing but we did have to cut Graham a little slack as he, by then, had thrown nearly 1000 balls in two days.   Johnny Caprella looks like he is going to help turn around a program at Shawnee HS that has struggled in the recent past but NO More.

Graham Walker is a tough young man with Faith, Family and Football as his mantra, and we are looking forward to an outstanding year for him at Battleground HS in Haymarket Virginia.

Virginia—-   Look out!  Graham Walker is a rising new Star that Coach Sink is proud to have on board and is about to make some big waves in the Washington DC area.
