New this year to the Sink program Evan Unrue 5’11†150 lbs. Freshman QB at Elida, Ohiodecided to show the older guys how it is done Friday night with a special performance in only his 2nd Varsity Game.  Evan threw for 158 yards and 5 TDS, going 11 of 16 for a 68% completion average and then packed away the football for another 90 yards of rushing in 13 attempts.  TheElida Bulldogs lit up rival Bath HS for a final score of 53 to 14. The thing I like about Evan is in his first game he was on the short end of a similar score the week before, but true Champions don’t worry about the past and Evan proved he is going to be the real deal as he bounced back BIG.
Devon Barnett was on the receiving end of 2 of those 5 TDS Evan threw, then Marcel Poe got another 1 for himself plus 2 rushing TDS.    Arzaiah Little hauled in 4 catches for 89 yards and 1 more of those TDS,  and Keshawn Spivey got one more and added a 77 yard Kickoff return just for the fun of it. All of these guys are regular work out guys when Sink visits Evan and the Elida Bulldogs.  Way to go guys, we are off and running and congratulations to one of my youngest super stars Freshman EVAN UNRUE.
