Jaxon Gregory my awesome 5’10†185 lbs. QB from Mt. Vernon HS in Mt. Vernon, Ohio ended his season on a tremendous up swing and that included being named the 2nd Team All Central Ohio District QB.  Jaxon finally convinced his coaches that he could throw the ball (with outstanding accuracy) and they moved their offense from the wing T to the spread and what a difference it made both in Jaxon’snumbers but also in Wins.   Jaxon ended up with 2096 yards and 22 TDS and a completed 51% of his passes and also rushed for 2 more TDS in 10 games.  Had they gone to the spread a little earlier they very well could have made the playoffs and Jaxon would have ended up in the elite group of QBs in the state. That would have put him in the top 15 in Ohio with Mark Waid Girard, Trevor Bycznski Berea Midpark, and Josh Stewart Hilliard Bradley who are also Coach Sink trained QBs.
Jaxon’s favorite WRS Logan Tate, a regular at Coach Sink workouts also ended up as an All Central Ohio District 2nd team WR and deservedly so after his last few weeks of performances.  Logan is an under 4.5 40 receiver who blossomed late but should have an opportunity to ball college ball along with Jaxon. It was a great turn around year for the Yellow Jackets and Mt. Vernon Football under the direction of a young man that has become an awesome leader and QB and another Sink kid with priorities in line to play football and lead his next team to victory.   Great job Jaxon Gregory……  Proud of you Man. Watch his outstanding video now:
