It has been my rule that I only put up articles on winning nights for each of my guys, but I watched an amazing feet by my outstanding Senior QB Isaiah Healy at Westerville Central Friday.  The Hall of Fame Coach John Magistro’  Warhawks  have been struggling some this year but Friday his senior QB took it all on his shoulders and almost pulled off the comeback of the year in Central Ohio. The Westerville Central defense in the first half could not seem to stop Olentangy Liberty and so they went into half time with a 24 to 7 deficit.
Isaiah, who is one fierce competitor decided the second half would not end like the first. Healy got going and when he does he is hard to stop. Late in the third quarter he threw a TD pass of 15 yards to Myles Williamson to make the score 24 to 14 still Liberty on top. Then shortly into the 4th  quarter he threw a TD pass to Drew Fischer for 19 yards and  turned around and lead the Warhawks right back down the field and with 6:51 left in the game threw a 24 yard TD pass to his excellent Junior WRCameron Phillips for the go ahead TD to make it 28 to 24. The amazing part was Isaiah just put up 3 TDs in under 6 minutes to take the lead. He ended the game with 238 yards passing on 23 of 32 for an amazing 82% completion average and after throwing his first TD in the 1st quarter
to his outstanding WR/DB Ashton Gilkey, Healy was responsible for all 4 Central TDs.   Ashton also had a great night with 103 yards of receiving on 9 receptions.
If the Warhawks can shore up the defense a little and Isaiah continue to do his magic they will be a team to recon with the rest of the season, but Friday they ran out of time as Isaiah was not quite able to get it done after Liberty marched down the field and put it in the end zone for the game winner 31 to 24. He did however make a gallant effort on 4th and 11 to scramble and make the first down but the referees lined up the ball just inches short and the clock ran out..
Great job Isaiah, I am really proud of your effort.  Turn it around next week and beat Westerville North.
