Girard HS fell a little short Friday by the score of 40 to 21 but not because they didn’t get production from their super young Freshman QB Mark Waid. He threw the ball 17 times and completed 13 passes for 243 yards and 2 TDs. That’s a great night for a Senior QB let alone a Freshman. Mark put both TD’s in the hands of his outstanding young Sophomore receiver Collin Harden who had 110 of those passing yard himself. Even though they didn’t get the big W the future look very bright for this young talented team in the Northeast Ohio area.
We are looking forward to watching these kids grow and mature into big time players in the next couple of years.
