QBS at Showcase MVPS, Custard & O’Hara

Kayden Custard, Cameron O’Hara, Coach Sink

This year the QB division, which we invited less numbers on purpose so we could spend more time individually with each, was extremely competitive. Many of our QBS were record setters at their High Schools and conferences both in yards passing and TDS scored. So, it was more than difficult to narrow it all the way down to 2 MVPS, and maybe we should have done what the WR Coaches did and bring up the 2 runners-up because they struggled as well to find just 2.

That being said, the 2 we selected were more than deserving, so here they are. One, a newcomer to our camp was from Cooper High school in Union County Kentucky, and his name is Cameron O’Hara and is going to be just a sophomore this fall. Cameron had all the throws down and was quick on his reads, so he made some Big plays throughout the camp. Kaden Custard was our other MVP and he plays for Ray Graham at Harrison County in Cynthiana, Kentucky where they score a lot of points per game. Kaden is a big reason why they are able to put up the numbers, and he had an excellent camp as well throwing the ball with strength and power.

There was one more QB who was right there in the running and was literally one vote away and that is Bradyn Bayles from Heath High School in heath, Ohio where he is the all-time passing leader in yards and TDS and many other categories, so I thought for sure he deserved a mention with the best of the best at this Showcase. I was very proud of the QB division in this year’s Coach Sink All State QB, WR, DB Showcase as it was strong on talent and competitiveness throughout the camp.
