I know, I Know, before I get a bunch of emails telling me this has always been a Quarterback and Receiver site and I don’t talk about lineman, this one is a little different. First of all, I know good and well I would not have either of the above positions without their BIG DOGS up front protecting them or blocking for them.
JACKSON PARSON is a little different in my eyes as I have watched this Big Man grow up sitting in front of Bonnie and I at Genoa Church every Sunday for the last 12 years. His dad Andy is a Pro lead guitarist and could make a fortune in Nasville playing in studios every day. We sang and played together for that same length of time.
At 6’4″ and 280 lbs. Jackson, has built himself into a near perfect size for a junior, right tackle, and is on his way to a big time program for the next 4 or 5 years and not doubt a dominant player in college. Watch for this young man as he also has all the qualities needed to succeed at the next level; right philosophy of living, Faith Family and Football, the right work ethic, and right numbers in the class room.
He has played for a super young coach in Curtis Crager, and my congrat’s go out to him for the 14 to 7 victory over the reining state champs, Massillon, Friday night on a cold and rainy Ohio fall night. It is on to Semi-finals Friday. In order to beat this team someone will have to handle JACKSON PARSON and his 4 buddies up front in order to beat them.
Go get ’em boys, I would love to see you win it all. Coach Sink
