The MVP of the entire Coach Sink’s All-State Showcase Camp was a well deserving WR from Springfield HS in Springfield, Ohio, where he plays for an excellent coach, Maurice Douglas (formerly a star DB with the Chicago Bears) is Anthony Brown. This young man is already highly rated with the prestigious Rivals recruiting service as well as 247, so he is no stranger in having Eyes on him. He worked hard the whole camp and made some spectacular catches and was the most difficult receiver to cover. Compete he did with excellence for 3 1/2 hours and was the unanimous winner of the MVP for the camp. He is quick, smooth, fast, and runs very good routes and explodes when he needs to to get into the open. He was not the biggest but just the best. With further development, He could be catching for Joe on Sunday’s.
Speaking of Joe, that is Joey B, #9 or Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, who finished his sophomore year in the NFL after overcoming a major injury in his Rookie year, with 4611 yards passing (2nd in the entire NFL) and 34 TDS and almost won his first Super Bowl, losing by 3 points to the Los Angelas Rams. The only bad stat that Joe has is leading the league in sacks with 51 this year, but I guess that proves how tough he is. Well, Joey B made the camp by giving us an NFL Football signed by him to give to Anthony for his performance as MVP of the camp. It is registered to Anthony and should be an awesome item for Anthony to cherish, at least until he gets his chance at the league.
Thanks Joe, and it was a pleasure having Joe work out with me the summer between his Ohio State and LSU College days. He is an outstanding young man, and one that Anthony could follow in his personal life. Congratulations Anthony Brown
