Josh Stewart has bang up night, beats New Albany 42 to 6

Josh Stewart, the senior QB from Hilliard Bradley, who had to transfer form Worthington Kilbourne in December of his Junior year gets his second win with another powerful performance.  This time beating what as always been a tight game for the Panthers,  into a route at the hands of Stewart.  Josh lead his team down the field to the first TD a rushing TD by his RB. Then the second quarter was owned by the Panthers with Josh throwing a 22 yard TD pass to his outstanding WR (with 20 D1 offers) 6’4â€Â Kory Taylor, next was Josh putting the ball in his own hands and taking it to pay dirt for a ten yard run, followed by the young Junior WR Trey Warner, who returned a New Albany punt 65 yards for a TD.   Trey is another WR who has been working with Coach Sink for 3 years and looks to have a great future in football.

The 3rd quarter was more of the same, with Trey catching one more of Josh’s TD passes from the one yard line, another of Josh’s favorite’s, Daevon Anderson, last year’s first team All-State receiver caught a 49 yarder for the final Bradley TD of the night and a final score of 42 to 6.  That put’s Mike Loparo’s Hilliard Bradley Panthers at 2 and 0 and marching along through the first portion of season after losing last year’s first team All-state and Ohio’s offensive player of the year, Will Phillis, who is now at Kent State and soon to make a name for himself on the next level.  Josh Stewart is doing more than holding his own or filling in for such a performer asWill, he is now carving his own legacy, and heading toward a College football career to prove he can play Big Times football as well.

Mike Owens, the talented young offensive coordinator is thankful for all of Coach Sink’s boys but in particular, right now for Josh Stewart, who is proving his offense to be the real deal again under a new director.   Stewart’s final stats were, 15 of 26 for 174 yards and 3 TDs, and rushing 13 times for 75 yards and one TD making a total of 249 yards offense.

I am really pleased for my 6’2†210 lbs. Josh, who is a strong character young man that has come through a lot of Adversity, and as I tell all my boys, “Adversity Breeds Greatnessâ€, andJosh is proving that with his play on the field. Great back to back games Josh Stewart.
