Pictured after a great day at the Rivals Elite Camp held yesterday at Hilliard Bradley High School, Hilliard Ohio; Left to right, GES owner Shemy Shembeckler
Westerville Central QB Isaiah Healy, WR Ashton Gilkey, and RB Allen Smith, Coach Sink,Newark Catholic WR Lucas Pierce, and Hilliard Bradley QB Josh Stewart.
Seeing this is the cream of the crop and you had to be invited by Rivals in order to be there and compete, I could not have been more proud of these guys. I was coaching the QBs so it was impossible to give you a complete assessment of every ones performance for the day, but neither Isaiah nor Josh were off from being named the MVP of the QB division, they were right there with the best. As for the rest,  I saw an occasional play or two but all three had some excellent catches. I did get a chance to see Ashton make several of his receptions and a couple of those were good enough to earn him the MVP of the receivers, even though he didn’t win it.
As for Shemy, he and GES are fast becoming the wave of the future for recruiting as his concept of film watching and assessment of players is so far above the others and the College recruiters respect his NFL background approach to the way he reports. We are so glad we partnered with him.
Great day was had by all of the top 200 players in the Midwest.
