My outstanding receiver from Westerville Central High School in Westerville Ohio just received his first D 1 offer from the Kentucky University with a huge Football background, Morehead State U.  Ashton had to transfer from Newark HS, in Newark Ohio this winter, do to both his Father and Mother moving to the Columbus area.  He settled in Westerville and will be playing this fall for the John Magistro Coached Warhawks and brings his all conference Junior performance with him.   He is an outstanding talent who has gotten bigger, faster, quicker, and tougher and absolutely put it on the defensive backs at the 3 stripe Elite (Invitation only) Rivals Camp in Columbus last week end.
I am sure this is just the start of many D1 offers coming his way soon if he continues to work as hard as he has been lately. By the way, he also ran the 3rd leg of the District winning 4 by 200 and the 4 by 100 relays this morning held at Hilliard Darby HS. Keep your eye on this awesome young man, Ashton Gilkey, as he is just beginning a Big Time carrier in Football and I for one cannot wait to see the numbers he and the Warhawks put up this fall. I love coaching him.
