My young super Star Freshman in College entered the portal from Youngstown State U. where he played one year but due to Covid rulings he still has 4 years of eligibility left, so Matt Carlisle (6’4″ 220 lbs.) is headed west to play for Coach Osterhaut at American River JUCO in Sacramento, Calif. He follows another one of my successful QBS, Griffin Dahn, who played there a few years ago and took them to the Calif. State playoff Championship and was the offensive player of the game, followed by 3 years at U of Nevada.
Matt has a strong competitive nature, plus talent to burn at the QB position so we are looking forward to an incredible year for both Coach O and American River with Matt at the helm. In a current work out, Matt was making plenty of NFL throws and has an absolute rocket delivery, throwing even 40 yard one balls and putting them exactly where he wants them.
