Thomas Worthington No Match for Darby and Horvath

Hilliard Darby rolled down the field with ease on the first drive and made it 7 to 0.  On the 2nd drive, 2nd down and 5, Blake Horvath made a play action fake and dropped 3 steps and threw a beautiful seam route to big # 36 who caught the ball in stride and took it to the 5 yard line for a successful pass play of 63 yards. Next play scored and it’s 14 to 0.   After a Thomas Worthington fumble, Horvath and his Panthers ran a inside counter and # 23 took it to the house for a 21 to 0 lead. The first Quarter ended with Darby holding a 28 to 0lead over Thomas and the route was on.

Great performance by all of Coach J. Santagata’s Panthers and it was 41 to 14 in the 3rd Quarter when the young guys for Darby got their chance to perform as well. Another great performance by my Senior QB Blake Horvath, who ended the night with 15 rushes for 171 yards and 5 TDS, and passing was 3 for 5 and 79 yards.   One more to go Friday against Dublin Jeromeand then the State Playoffs.   I can’t wait.
