Horvath Get’s Prestigious Aquinas Player of the week

Blake Horvath  Senior QB from Hilliard Darby HS has racked up another Player of the week award but this time it is the Prestigious Aquinas award which is only given to young athlete’s with reputations for integrity as well as their athletic ability. Super sports writer and announcer Dave Metzler  has long been associated with this organization and has continued over many years of helping select some of our most successful young people to receive this award. 

 

I am proud to say Blake is the second QB of mine to receive this award as Jared Drake from Westerville Central also won it in 2015.   Blake is so deserving of this award in my mind as he has been the offensive catalyst for the great 4 and 2 season of Coach Santagata’s Hilliard Darby Panthers and he is an outstanding young man and will represent this fine organization, perfectly.    Congratulations to Blake Horvath.
