Quarterback Isaiah Healy Named QB MVP of 2017 “Best of the Midwest” Camp

Isaiah Healy ,Westerville Central Senior QB made his presence known (among 75 QB’s at the camp) as did several others from the Sink clan on Monday this week as it was President’s Day and no school .

I would say we had 25 to 30 of our players in the prestigious Greg Brookey camp which totaled almost 400 players and I was privileged to again coach the QBs with my good friend Anthony Morelli (former Penn State QB).

Isaiah Healy put on quite a performance particularly on his last 4 or 5 throws to be named the MVP along with Kenny Wade of Indiana and Theo Day of Michigan.  Isaiah also put up the fastest 40 yard dash time of any QB at the camp with a 4.5 sec time. Congratulations Isaiah !

A logo of the baseball team, ages advisory.Coming in fourth and almost got there was Hilliard Bradley’s new Senior QB Josh Stewart.   Congrat’s to you as well Josh for an outstanding performance.

Now, for fear of forgetting one of the many kids we had there I will only mention the ones in my group that I was able to watch perform while coaching.   The one exception to that was my excellent QB Jake Lewis from Licking Valley who must have gotten caught in another section that was at the other end of the building from me but I am sure he performed well too.  His team mate Ethan Brechbill ended up at my end of the building and made some incredible catches in the one on one section of the camp. One in particular where he ripped the ball from a defender to make an awesome play. Congrat’s Ethan.

Another One of my outstanding WRs Cameron Phillips from Westerville Central had an incredible performance on the shuttle with a time of 3.88 and I was timing him with another coach and I said, “ we better do that again to make certainâ€, so we asked Cam to run it again and he timed exactly the same time 3.88.  To put this in perspective, I believe the number one young man in the nation last year ran a 3.79.  Way to go Cam , all the hard work you are putting in is paying off.

It was good to have Reno Godfrey Westerville North Sophomore QB at the camp as well and we have enjoyed working him on a limited basis.

Schemy Schembeckler of GES Advisory and I had a great time traveling together to the camp and when Greg Brookey met Schemy he immediately put him to work timing and coaching the O Line.  We were able to introduce many players to our GES recruiting site and are signing daily, young men to this ultimate in recruiting for the high school players to obtain scholarships at all levels of College Football. It has been awesome working with such a Pro in our business and we are looking forward to helping a multitude of young men with their futures..

Big Day for the kids to show off in front of GES Advisory, Rivals, 24-7 sports, scouting .com, scouting Ohio, and the Us Army Bowl and maybe others I did not see as I was working.  The Best of the Midwest was just that!!!!
