Quarterback Kaleb Jarrett Leads Newark to Another Win

A football player is throwing the ball

Kaleb Jarrett and the boys from Newark put it on Canal Winchester Friday night by a score of 33 to 13.  It did take another Big Time game from their Senior QB, with the score at 20 to 13 starting the fourth quarter.

Kaleb lead 3 outstanding drives to put the game out of reach for Canal. Jarrett was throwing rockets in the second half and ended the game 15 for 28 and 181 yards and 2 TDs and 0 INTs.

Taevon had 3 catches for 53 yards, Ashton Gilkey had 4 for 33 yds, Pound 2 for 29, and Shackleford 3 for 25 yards.  A good night for the boys we call the Cats.

All that hard work this summer is paying off this fall as Newark HS has turned the corner with their football program and is no longer a sure out for anyone. Watch Kaleb Jarret’s highlight film as he should  be recruited by an outstanding football school this fall even after missing his Junior year with a broken collar bone.

This young man is the real deal and someone will have an incredible QB in the next 4 to 5 years if they pick him up.
