Jake Lewis and Ethan Brechbill of Licking Valley Team up to Beat Watkins Memorial

A man and a boy standing on top of a field.

Licking Valley came from behind Friday to win a very close game on the throwing and catching of 2 of Coach Sink’s boys.  Jake a very talented Junior QB threw for 153 yards and ran for 60 and he connected with Ethan Brechbill the fine Junior WR for two 4th Quarter TDs to come from behind and beat Watkins 21 to 20.

He put the ball on the money for the last score with just 58 seconds left in the game and found his buddy and number 1 WR Ethan in the end zone to seal the deal for Randy Baughmans ever improving Panthers.

Jake and Ethan traveled the summer with Coach Sink literally putting 1000’s of miles over the road and never ending work outs to improve their game.

Just a couple of those stops included theUniversity of Alabama and the University of Kentucky where they both performed very well against some of the best in the country.  Both are extremely hard workers and that always pays off in the end while playing this tough game of Football.  Proud of them and what they are accomplishing on the field and as fine young men at Licking Valley.

Jake for the year so far has thrown for 1147 yards and 9 TDs and rushed for 627 yards and 9 more TDs.   With a win Friday night I believe they would secure a spot in the Playoffs as currently they are rated #10 in Region 15 and 2 of their losses came at the hands of undefeated # 1 Johnstown and undefeated #2 Heath in the Region.

Go get em Jake, Ethan and the rest of the Licking Valley Panthers.
