ALERT: Dakota Holtzclaw 100% To Kentucky

One of the more intriguing 2016 prospects in the state of Ohio is Worthington Kilbourne wide receiver Dakota Holtzclaw, who committed to Kentucky last spring.

Holtzclaw, 6-foot-7, 215-pounds, is very raw as a wide receiver prospect but he has extraordinary size, and is a red zone target specialist. He also put up impressive track times this year.

Offers are still coming in for Holtzclaw, who did take a few unofficial visits recently. His more recent offers are from Pittsburgh, Indiana and Virginia Tech.

“I did visit Virginia Tech two weeks ago, but I’m still 100% committed to Kentucky,” Holtzclaw admitted. “The new offers make me feel good and all that, but I’m still 100% committed to Kentucky. This is a big decision and I want to be sure.”

“I know I have a great thing at Kentucky, and I respect the schools that have offered me,” he added. “The schools want me to take official visits this fall, but I don’t have anything planned to do that.”

“I think a lot of Coach (Vince) Marrow at Kentucky,” he continued. “They are going to play me on the outside at wide receiver, and I think that’s great for me.”
